in the garden…
Vinca and zinnia and salvia
Marigold, black-eyed Susan, salvia, wildflowers
And one of my favorites, Cleome. This flower always makes me think it couldn’t make up its mind what it wanted to be. It’s tall and thorny and has flowers and crazy seed pods sprouting in all directions. I love it.
And last, a houseplant. This is my first experience with a Venus fly-trap. So far, I haven’t seen it catch any flies but I’m hopeful.
Happy Paint Party Friday!!

Really lovely paintings. Each of these would make a stunning greetings card.
ReplyDeleteOh Boy! Garden paintings! My favorite! ♥♥♥♥ (Don't you have to feed the fly trap hamburger? I seem to remember doing that when I was a kid.)
ReplyDeleteI love your flowers! hahaha And I love your fly catcher! These fill my eyes--which is the greatest compliment I can give. :D
ReplyDeleteFabulous all of them. We had a venus fly trap in the seventies....Your work is always so gorgeous...the color makes my hear sing!

you must have such a wonderful and colourful garden. Beautiful ...
ReplyDeleteI already had a look at your beautiful flowers this morning for breakfast and laughed out loud when I saw the last one because at the same time an ugly, fat fly was stalking me all the time and I immediately wanted to buy this plant. Please let me know as soon as your venus fly-trap is successful. I love all the other flowers so much!
