field of flowers

One thing I’m going to try to do this year is paint more large paintings. By large, I mean something in the 11”x14” range. I do so many 4x6 or 5x7….so I’m branching out a bit.

Here is this weeks’ large painting. More flowers.

I usually start the painting on Sunday afternoon. It takes a few days of layering to get it “finished”…since I can only work on it in the evenings.

By Wednesday or Thursday, it’s ready for ink. This is usually done while watching TV. I’m good at multitasking ☺

Tomorrow is February. Already. That means 29 Faces. I’m playing. Who else is making faces in February?

Now off to see more paintings at Paint Party Friday!!

I may play along with 29 Faces, but I'm not going to commit to every day. Keepin' things loose. ;)
