my first novel

Well, not so much a novel as a short story.

I’ve been working on this story for a few years now. I’ve drawn and redrawn the images. I’ve written and rewritten the story.

I shared the book cover a while back. Remember this?

Well, I finally put together a small mocked up (dummy) version of the complete book. I haven’t painted all of the images yet…but here are two. I still see lots of little things that need “fixed” before I get to a final version.

I won’t go into a lot of the details but things “float” … as in there’s no gravity.

Sometimes, I think I want to try and get it published but I don’t think I can handle all the rejection.

Maybe I’ll just finish the pages (paint them, I mean) then do a self-publish book.

Just for me.

And one for my grandson. He was the model for the main character. I have tons of photos of him in various “floating” positions!

He’s a good sport. If ever I get published, I will have to dedicate it to him ☺

  2. Well, from seeing/reading this I say go for it! What have you got to lose? You won't be any worse off than you are now if they say no.
