I never learned how to play pinochle.
But I would pretend to be interested in the game so I could sneak off with some snacks while they were concentrating on their hand.
It would have been okay if it were just me sneaking. But multiply that times 3 (brothers) and pretty soon all the snacks are gone and there’s none left for company!
So cute!! My parents played bridge...and we did the snack snitching too!
