friday flowers

Omigosh…it’s Friday already.

I love Fridays.

Half day at work…this means a few extra hours I get to spend in the studio.

Dobby gets to go to doggie daycare this afternoon…she likes Fridays, too!

I’m getting a haircut this afternoon.

Friday nights are YOYO at our house. I don’t fix dinner…You’re On Your Own! Also known as clean out the fridge night ☺

Life is good.


I’m linking to Paint Party Friday. I changed up my palette a little for this painting…used more cool colors instead of warm.

    What a sweet and happy painting! Cool colors cool off a hot summer day! I hadn't formally named it - but we have YOYO whenever I get tired of cooking - I actually love to cook but need a day off now and then. I think I'll adopt your name - love it!

    Looking at your flowers make me feel so happy! I love the colors and how you have arranged them. And I also love your idea of YOYO. I will suggest that to my husband as last friday I spent all evening in the kitchen with a cooking spoon in hand instead of my paintbrush ;)
