Happy Valentine’s Day to you!!
My husband and I agreed no gifts this year. Just a card. But he always slips in some chocolate which he says doesn’t count as a gift ☺
I think I’ll keep him.
And today is a special day at our house. Dobby turns 1. When we got her at the shelter, they told us she had been born in February, so we assigned February 14 as her birthday. She’s a real sweetheart so it seemed fitting.
I’ll try to make it round to everyone’s blog tomorrow at 29 Faces and Paint Party Friday.

Beautiful work, happy Valentine's Day! Your panting of Dobby is really sweet, perhaps you could link it to Conny's 'Mix it Monthly'. Valerie

ReplyDeleteEeek, the puppy is too cute! Another terrific girl in a hat - with wonderful bold colors in the background!
ReplyDeleteLovely and adorable, in that order!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your little sweetheart! She's adorable and I love her name.
ReplyDeleteEven Dobby has a hat! Again, another brilliant face drawing.
ReplyDeleteAll your faces are wonderful.
ReplyDeletewonderful paintings! I love the special bday day you gave your sweet Dobby!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to dobby-i love your cartoon of her. We don't celebrate Valentine's because we object to the whole being obliged to be romantic so the corporations can make even more money. Call me cynical but I think it means more when my husband is romantic without being guilted into it by the marketing man! ! But that's just me.
ReplyDeleteBoth pieces are so sweet! Happy Birthday Dobby!!
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF and V-D
ReplyDeleteYour lady looks so prim and proper. Very nicely done.
