keeping it simple

I finally had some time for playing around in the studio.

I bought these little birdhouses at a flea market. They’re small … only about 3 inches tall .. for really small birds, I guess.

I decided to use only a few colors. I generally use a palette that holds 8 colors but today I limited myself to 4. I love working with watercolor. It’s so versatile.
