the weekend
I ordered a few things from Amazon—presents for me—and a new “toy” box for the girls.
I haven’t written much lately about the Year of the Fairy Tale class but I’ve been so busy with homework. Our first task was to draw princesses and frogs! I’ve drawn at least 100 of each!! I think I’ve narrowed it down to these two as my final character.
I think.
It’s so hard to decide! I’m going for a princess that somewhat resembles the frog she is. So her hairstyle resembles the frog’s eyes. Her polka-dot cloak will resemble the frog’s skin. Stuff like that. I think when I add color, it will help tie it all together.

That's too funny! The box! This also applies to toddlers, too!! My daughter LOVED boxes sometimes even more than her store bought toys!
ReplyDeleteYour princess idea is AWESOME! Me, too...I have drawn tons of princesses and frogs...and maybe...just maybe there is one that I like.
Your princess and frog are adorable. I haven't gone on the FB group at all because I don't want to be influenced...I want to see what I can create on my very own - from a blank canvas in my mind. But I can't wait to see all the others' work. :)
Have a fun day.
Your princess and the frog are wonderful! I'm still working on mine. Kathi
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute! ♥♥♥ The princess. But the 'girls' are cute too!
ReplyDeleteYour princess is so sweet and to echo those elements between the two is such a smart idea. Sounds like a lot of work but looking good.
