creative tuesdays :: plum
Plum is the theme this week at Creative Tuesdays. Thanks to Michael for hosting.
Can you guess who this is? Any fans of the Clue game?? That game used to be my favorite. I’m guessing that it was Professor Plum in the Library!!!
I had fun making this drawing and decided to keep with a minimal color palette for the theme. So, in the end, I just colored it in Photoshop using the hex color specified by Michael.
If anyone is looking for a good, fun challenge, please give Creative Tuesdays a try. We post every other week … which I love. Sometimes, it takes me a few days to mull over the theme before I dive into a drawing. Learn more about Creative Tuesdays.

I've never played the game but I heard references to it in movies and tv shows a lot.
ReplyDeletegreat take on the theme, this could never occur to me but I like the guy in the plum suit, he is sort of cute
have a lovely day.
This is so fun and perfect for our theme Sue, well done!
ReplyDeleteOh dear Sue, thank you for you ownderful write up and as it is, I am actuallt giving antoher week extension as some of us have not done this yet, myself included. Sorry!! I rearely do that bt this time was needed. All to do with moving and extending out the one before as such too. I hope to get back into a normal routine here next week and lets see if we get the contributors hoped for too.
ReplyDeleteAs it is, your piece is brilliant. I LOVe how you used that CLUE character (Cluedo in the US). The minimum pallete works perfectly for his name too and the drawing is EXCELLENT. I love it! Please please do remember to add this to the sing up which I will post on the 5th of September. Thank you! Again, my apologies...
You are solo clever. He is wonderful.
ReplyDeletealso called Cluedo here, so hmm maybe its only called Clue in Canada, will have to investigate that lol
ReplyDeletekeeping the colours simple works really well here :)
Very clever! I like the minimalist color too!
