bird’s-eye view
Of a bird’s nest!
Looking out my studio window, sits a mother robin. She has built her nest in the crook of the rainspout on my neighbor’s house.
She was my inspiration for this painting. Although, I had to paint my little birdie blue…just for a pop of color!

ReplyDeleteI love your blue bird :-)
ReplyDeleteI have robins in my yard, and recently installed a birdhouse that is designed for a bluebird, so a nesting bird that is blue, even if it isn't a true bluebird (though how would I know?), is appealing to me. It is always fun to check in here because I like your art.
Oh that's sweet! I love it!
