rings and things

Some doodles of my favorite watches, etc.

I used to buy Swatch watches. This was BEFORE I carried a phone around all the time. Now I hardly ever wear watches. Too bad…they were really cute!

making faces

Just playing around in the studio yesterday. Mix and match faces from magazines…then doodle and paint. Too fun!

BTW…my scanner isn’t working so these are photos straight out of the camera. Some have a glare. Sorry.

cafe birdies

Just a couple of sketches of some little birds that joined us for lunch one day while on vacation.

We were eating sandwiches one day at a little café that had the doors open and these little birds came up to our table to beg for scraps.

Sorry, birds, no table scraps from me.

Don’t get me wrong…we have half a dozen bird feeders in our yard that we keep stocked daily. I just didn’t think turkey sandwiches or potato chips would be good for these little guys!

vacation doodles

Sorry I took such a long break there! I was out of town on vacation, then came home and caught an awful cold. It took all my energy just to get through the workday.

But I’m back now. I got a lot accomplished this weekend. The usual chores plus I painted the guest bathroom (my legs are hurting today…up and down the ladder…ugh).

I made these doodles from my vacation. For Christmas, my husband surprised me with a two-day pass to Universal Studios in Orlando. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan.

Have I mentioned before that I’m 52 going on 10? Yeah, age is just a number! We rode lots of scary rides…I screamed like a little girl. I had so much fun.

I’m still going through Butter Beer withdrawal!!

how i spent my weekend

I’ve come to the conclusion that February makes me sick!

Abby and I slept all weekend.

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I was out of town on vacation. We were in sunny Florida…I had to take lots of shorts to wear. It was nice!

Now, we’re back home where it’s going to be in the 30s-40s this weekend. So, I’m dreaming of warmer days.

I will definitely have some fun with this one! I love getting into the details.

Here’s a doodle from my old food journal. I used to draw everything I ate. It got a bit boring. I discovered that I tend to eat the same things over and over and over.

Anyway, I think it works with the new theme. What do you think?
